Cheryl Cole moved to new hospital
Cheryl Cole's health is slowly improving and she has been transferred to a different hospital, it's been announced.
Cheryl is out of intensive care - which is a ward for people who are very sick and need constant medical attention.
She has been moved from a London hospital to a smaller, private clinic.
The star is battling malaria, which is a tropical disease. It is spread by mosquitoes and can be deadly, but not if it's caught early like Cheryl's was.
It's thought Cheryl caught the disease during a recent trip to Tanzania, in Africa.
The X Factor judge is having to miss the remaining auditions for the show.
Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls |
Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls was at the recent Manchester auditions, standing in for Dannii Minogue who's just had a baby.
Nicole told the crowds: "I'm so happy to be here. I'm sorry Cheryl is not with us but she's here in spirit and I will try to hold the girl power down."
Illness
Malaria is one of the biggest diseases in the world - it's thought one child dies from it every 30 seconds. It's most common in tropical places, such as Africa, southern Asia and South America.
The illness can feel a bit like the flu at first - symptoms include a headache, aching muscles and feeling really tired.
That's followed by a high fever and then chills, every few days. The illness can last up to three weeks.
Every year, around 2,000 people from the UK become infected with malaria when abroad, but if treated early, people can make a full recovery.
